The wastegte seems to be tighter than from factory so it should not be low on boost for that reason
that became clear when you said it's from 2003.... i cant say more than i've already said about the black smoke
Hey there - it’s a manual. To be honest i don’t know how the threads would be counted I took a photo. Found some oil under - tied up the screws.
I double checked the loom on ECu plug and the plug on the harness both absolutely dry.

Fery, is it just me or does the fuel temp look high compared to the coolant temp, shouldn't the gap be a bit bigger, say 20C difference? The ECU uses the fuel temp to vary fuel injection because warmer fuel is less dense, so it would chuck more...
Update: took it today for a longer ride, still blows quiet a lot of black smoke with disconnected MAF sensor. Any hints I could look into? I checked the injector loom, no oil.

Took a small drive with MAF plugged in - strong accelerating caused a huge black cloud.
Unplugged it - I feel abit the power loss, I can say zero black smoke. I recorded the the drive on the nanocom burning...
If bypassed means blanked , yes it is. Installed a EGT gauge in the blanking plate.
Will go for unplugging the MAF sensor if I get the Front Diff today I should be ready for a test drive in the evening hopefully latest tomorrow I will be back...
