Update! Replacing temp gauge sensor cured the hunting & a working temp gauge!

Thanks Brown. Checked yellow fuse but all ok, a little oil around ECU but nothing like there was before I replaced the injector harness. Although I do wonder if the damage was done & the oil haf seeped into the ECU.

Thanks Lynall yes I thought that might be the case. I'd need to drop the tank right. Not keen on cutting access slot on a 110 I think that means going through a strut??!!

Thanks Kev. I replaced with a decent harness earlier this year. Hunting was occurring before this but not as bad as now. Harness slightly I'll fit though cable tied at front to pull into situ.

Revving! Hunting! Surging! It's been getting worse over last few months. I'm now taking slow corners at slow high speed! It's usually worse on short journey. High revs at idle & under acceleration, it does dip & surge randomly. Replaced filters & cleaned sensors. Any suggestions greatly...

Thanks to everyone for advice. Yuasa ybx3642 ordered Saturday from Tanya & arrived today fitted this evening. Looking forward to starting up tomorrow morning!

Hi, Can't find any recent Battery threads for replacing my power box in 98 TD5 110. Old one is a Yuasa 644 Cargo which I can get from Tanya's Batteries for around £170 delivered..... Just wondering if anyone had any other suggestions? Thanks

Well Alisport popped a gasket in for me and after fitting yesterday I can report back that its made a huge difference. Much smoother pick up and top speed is great and yes it even sounds sweeter! Although I am still getting the hunting. I am debating on whether to cut the hatch in the boot to...

So after new filter & sensors cleaned up a bit touch wood no more loss of power! The filter housing was showing signs of corrosion. Amazing how hot the filter gets after just a few minutes on tick over. I'm still getting the hunting though so going to blank the EGR. I actually took the egr off...
