Answer. In Australia the 10% Ethanol in our fuels eats into the foam float allowing it to absorb fuel and sink. Here in Oz the fuel float from the EA or EB Ford Falcon fits and solves the problem Cheers Jeff

When I got my 96 P38 the fuel gauge would only reach 3/4 when tank was brim full. I fitted a new fuel pump -- no change. Then I fitted a new fuel gauge -- no change. fitted the pump to wires and manually raised the float -- Bingo FULL on the gauge. Question.... Anyone experienced...
