thanks Coltron, thats pretty much what I thought. Theres no knock or noise at all while driving it but when I jacked it up theres movement side to side on the wheel with a distinctive clunk from the inner tie rod. seems a fairly easy change over...
Funny you say this, I've just jacked the car up and checked and the inner tie rod is moving in and out. Replace that next. Funny this has only happened since I had the tracking done. Is it possible they've over extended the rod or something?
