    Engine power loss Freelander

    Can anyone offer ideas? Engine gets very hot (smell under bonnet and temp) Loses all power but does not stall. Coolant temp,remains stable and low. Engine runs again OK after cooling off, until over heats again. It's a series 1 K series engine
