I used Adrian Flux when I got my 2nd one. You can get a limited milage one, I could do 3000 miles a year. I think u can say how many miles u want. It was around the £500 mark on my bobtailed disco but u build up a 2nd lot of no claims so after the first year it dropped to like £300. Just give...

Sorry still way to much for me at the moment, I got to keep saving for a thew more years! Someone will be lucky to buy this off of u. I'm sure it won't take long for someone to snap it up :)

I would love this truck looks really smart but unfortunately don't have that sort of money, only got about half that saved up at the mo!.... Think u would have to remove a lot of stuff to make it that cheep lol

My dad had his converted to springs. Don't think it cost too much, the local mechanic did it.

Oh yeah that makes more sense thought there would be a more important reason, just couldn't quite remember what it was! Now I know too :) thanks for correcting me :)

Now I'm only going off what I can remember from college a thew years ago but I think with a Diesel engine the diesel also acts as a lubricant for the injector pump and what not and it is this excess that goes back to the tank. If u look at the injectors them selfs there is a pipe that goes to...

At a guess without looking at it I would say one is a feed and one is a return. See if there is any arrows on the sender at the fuel line joins.
Someone else may correct me!

I quite like that cheeky winch hidden away there too.... Trouble is I think I like it more when u can see them! Would also like to see some pics of how it is mounted tho :)

Yeah I thought that from your picture.
I'm not a 100% sure about MOT, haven't had the truck long enough to put it through one. When I got the truck it was just put in the back loose with the seats folded up!
I was told that as long as it is secure and can be filled from the outside it should...

Glad you sorted it :)....... but as I have taken the pics thought I may as well share them anyway, just in case anyone else is interested!
Not had chance to fix the filler in place yet!
like I say guess the amount that's been cut off the back would make a bit of a difference.

Good good.
Well that's what u all are! Solved lots of problems by reading posts already.
And love looking at all the pics too!

Thanks :D
Thought I would add a pic of the disco....... (want to see if I have worked out how to do it properly!!)
think that's how I add a pic?!

My blowers were not working when I got mine.... On a quick inspection it was just the large fuse under the bonnet had blown. They have worked fine since I replaced it.
Would be easy to check that on a test drive..... U never know u could be lucky and it be as simple as that!

I have a bobtailed disco 1 300tdi. It's a bit rought around the edges but am...

If its any help, I have the original tank in my bobtailed disco with the one single seat in. Don't get me wrong it's a tight fit! I got the filler up where the rear window was. Mines not boxed in yet as not had the time. Could put some pics up on Sunday if u think it will help?
I also guess it...
