Thank you all for your advice.Got a battery this morning seems to be ok now (fingers crossed).I did phone M J Fews as they are about a mile from me and when they said £69.80 per hour + VAT just to look at it my blood ran cold i can tell you.

hi,got a 1.8 freelander last week and all was fine for 2 days well for no reason it would not start.If you jump start it,then it will start fine drive anywhere and purr like a kitten dove 40 miles fine then if you stop then engine and try to start it again it wont unless you get a jump...
