Thanks guys, I'll give it a shot. I don't think it's the brake switch, quite sure it's the wrong model for that (two wire) - but couldn't hurt to check all wiring back and swap out the pump. The HDC ha been required by the previous owner and this was advised by the garage as probably the issue...
