Hi guys.. just an idea for those of you who own a p38.. and stay in Scotland.. I'd like to get together with other proud owners, meet in Glasgow or Edinburgh and take a spin Down to a country house hotel just under an hours cruize from either of the two cites for some lunch and awesome pics...

I'm looking for some budget tyres.. the best price I can find is 86 quid a tyre... does anyone know if I can get some sent to me cheaper? My tyre size is 255/60/18. Any help would be great, thanks!

Two new front tyres today.. need to give her a good clean on the Inside and get a new wheel nut.. so besides the tyres... a rather cheap Week for the p38... mind you we are only on Tue.. plenty time yet!

Id love to do the repairs myself but not a lot of knowledge when it comes to cars especially the p38's V8. Im hoping by joining LZ I may be able to carry out a few small repairs myself.

And did the cup holder on the dash come with the car or is that an add on? I'll be honest.. Im rather jelous of your p38! hehee Its a fantastic example..

Thanks for the help guys! one problem being Im rather new to all of this and wouldn't know where to find the Idle air control valve.. any chance of trying to explain where ill find it? P.S Martynv8 Your P38 looks amazing! need to have a look at more pics and find out where to get some of the...

My p38 4.0 petrol has an idle problem.. there far too low and has a tendensy to cut out When I slow down for example.. when I park or slow at a junction. Can anyone help?

I hear you! Its a pain.. but when its on the road its a great drive.. I think anyway!

LOL! what a great post... Ive been driving a lot slower recently due to me putting my foot down a few months back, turning my air intake box to dust! there fantastic fun but everything about them costs money.. im pretty sure my P38 could bankrupt Bill Gates.. Twice over.:)
