Hi I'm having wiring trouble with my defender. I had an earth problem so I jiggled the earth lead about to try start my defender as I was doing that there was a short or summit around the fuse box area so now when I put the key to the start position it's putting power to two auxiliary light...

It is a defender r380 top. Have you any other ideas?

My defender top was of an r380 is it the same as a lt77? What is the interlock? I'm kinda new to gearboxes lol

Hi I've just put a disco r380 into my defender. I bought the selector rail adapter of ashcrofts. My problem is I can't select any gears apart from second. The gearstick dosent feel rite. Anybody any ideas?

Is it just a matter of prying it out with a screwdriver? I've the disco transfer box on the defender so don't know how awkward it's gonna be lol.

Hi I'm putting a lt230 disco transfer box into my defender. Do I have to change the speedo housing? My speedo cable on my defender won't fit into the speedo housing on the disco lt230 box. Any help would be great full thanks.

Hi. I'm trying to put 94 disco r380 into my 1995 defender 90. The hole in the selector shaft isint in the right place for the screw on the quadrant of the defender stick. Is there anyway around this? Is the selector shaft in a disco gearbox different from a defender selector shaft? Any...
