Most of the outer cover is gone ‐ a pigeon did it!

Afternoon all Does anyone know if the outer lens on an L322 front indicator / parking light (passenger side) is replaceable on its own or do I have to replace the complete unit? Would it be an MOT failure? Thanks

I have an occasional fault on my 2002 3.0 Range Rover which feels like the front right brake is binding. To relieve it I can touch the brake pedal and the fault clears temporarily. Shortly after it happens, the dash lights up with the usual array of faults including inactive suspension and ABS...

Anyway, enough of this nonsense, what about my window? any thoughts or suggestions or tests to do?

Also I changed the oil and filter while I was at it. I'd forgotten that some prick had broken the top hex off the oil filter cover and it's pretty tight getting a band round it. Don't suppose anyone has a spare filter cover or can let me have the part number?

Yep, it missed that bit out nicely, and it also missed out the bit about needing many hands to get the belt back on again and making sure not to trap the belt behind the idler pulley bracket so having to take it off again Alternator it was - fixed now

Connections all look and feel tight. It's the alternator I think Some kind salvage gentlemen are sending me a replacement. Manual says Belt off PAS pump unmounted and pushed to the side Alternator pulley off Alternator off Is that about right? One question, how do I get the Alternator pulley...

Aaaah, so it's the battery or the alternator or a bad connection. I'll have a poke about tomorrow and let you know
