Looks like the interface goes under the drivers seat (under front right seat). I'll need to remove the seat and sill cover to lift the carpet and confirm though.

I've read the thread and believe that a control unit is required. The ECU can then be activated. :D It's just a theory, but I can't find part numbers for 2x different ECUs. I have found one for a control box though it may be for an earlier model. Maybe someone can shed some light. SCB100212...
