    freelander head gasket failure

    Had mine (W Reg 1.8) , done in May 07, still going strong, cost £960 plus VAT inc new water pump & therm.

    Is anyone out there happy with their FL ??

    My W reg 1.8 XEI is now ok having had all the gaskets replaced, head ground, new water pump fitted in order to stop the leaking water. However now have bad wear on rear tyres due to another design fault with rear diff!!!!
