With the rivnut holes in the wing, if you've got some small offcuts of aluminium, epoxy them in behind the holes before you fill them. It'll give it a bit of strength and allow you to sand back whatever you're using to fill without it cracking or falling out.

Yeah, it did, a few years ago. The battery light glowed a most fantastic red then blew with an audible pop (even over the sound of the engine!). I have a slight inkling it may have had something to do with this! Off to Halfords to find an inline fuse holder and get it back in place.

Yup, that's definitely the one. Managed to find some other pictures of it. Can't seem to find a replacement for sale anywhere. I had an issue a few years ago where my alternator regulator broke, which may have caused it to melt.

Haha, sorry, I'm being an idiot, of course it pulls, what I meant was having the intercooler behind the radiator, would that work? I'm off up to the scrap yard in a bit to see if there's a radiator and intercooler from a Disco.

One last question about this hopefully! I've bought an electric fan and I'm making up a shroud for it. Obviously the fan will pull air forward into the radiator, would I still want the intercooler in front of the radiator, or mounted between the fan and the rad?
