    maybe fuel pressure regulator ,trouble is on the thor engine its built into the fuel pump , a pressure test on the fuel rail is needed, however if the regulator or pump was faulty you would expect it to misfire more often:)

    to right just google ,[bmw x5 problems] [nissan navara problems] [mitsubishi l200 problems] [ mercedes etc etc etc they are no different loads of problems:)

    sounds like a faulty brake light switch have a look at the brake pedal to see if its making contact with the switch:)
