hi there could anyone give me info on why my obd port has no power as cant find anything on fuse location in manual ,, as tried to have gearbox diagnosed but no power to socket,, freelander td4 52 plate, cheers

yep me to, the bent tooth was next to the broken one, i have read that trying to start the engine while it is running can cause the starter to hit the teeth but i dont now if this is true,, just glad it worked,,

oh well no answers,,, so welded tooth back on today and alls well revving like a dream and running sweet ,,

hi there after many misfire problems it seams to be getting better(4.6 hse auto 1998) but wont go over 1500rpm if it does then it coughs and splutters and seams like its misfiring again, changed or tested parts are as follows plugs leads coil packs wiring loom crank sensor,cam sensor...

hiya had a diagnostic and nearly all the codes are open circuits , p0201/2/4/8, p0340, p1508, have checked injectors and changed cam sensor and idle sensor, does this sound like i should change the loom i am all out of ideas,,cheers

hi all battery ok fully charged,fuses and relays checked,straps and wires checked, only thing noticed is one relay gets warm but its the fan relay, we had rr turning over by using a by pass direct to starter but no fire up again ,as for the rf how can you test it cheers

hi there had diagnostic done needs new crank sensor, had ignition checked and he said not getting any power from ignition to starter is the ignition switch easy to replace and do you fine people think this could be the problem cheers all

hi there am new here ,problem with my starting [not starting] when i turn the key nothing hapens just a click from the relay box and as you do that all the dash light and other switches go out until key turned back , clicking is not coming from starter, any ideas realy needed thanks Lee

Hi there fitted the front bumper spots to my 52plate td4, got the switch to go in the dash space above the fuse box and thought all the wiring would be behind the dash as they were when fitted the cruise control. but there's nothing there looked on the forum and found a post about the stc53068...
