Hi all..I have a 90 with a 300tdi and when I put it into diff lock the battery light comes on faintly with the diff lock light...has anyone had this problem or any ideas where the fault may be..

Ok so thats interesting... According to that I have a discovery engine in a 90 12 months older than it should be....more reading I think....

Hi.. I can do a photo later in the week when I am back with the vehicle..but I do have the original service record and it is definitely a 21L and I did check it on the engine when I got it...the vehicle model in the book says Def 90 hard top...

I had read somewhere that the gearing on the discovery was set up to offer better cruising so presumably the gearing is different??? I suppose what I am trying to find out is if the vehicle is a 90 with a discovery engine and gearbox....
