As requested, a straight, no fuss GS….with good service history….. Unless someone here spots the reg no and ‘knows’ this one and why it was sold on…..!

Yes Andy you’re correct it’s on the left of the column. 🤦🏻‍♂️ Unfortunately I’d ordered the widget before I saw you’re find, although plenty of USB’s is always welcome. 👍🏻 M.

Thanks Andy. Nice find. I’ve got headlamp levelling there but I’ve a blank switch above the heated rear screen in the group of 6 - heated front screen maybe? I’ve had a dry run today removing all the central console and there’s a wire pair...

A solution that I came up with for USB and a useful battery voltmeter is this. https://ebay.us/m/e0yGIy It also fits in the right-hand spare blanked hole that is for LHD headlight adjustment. It is a tight fit but a touch with a file or sharp...

All of my Freelanders had original exhausts so they must have been well made. And yes as Nodge says the power steering hose is always flattened like that. It had me concerned too the first time I saw it.

Can't have looked at many Landies if you've never seen an advisory for an oil leak! I got this advisory on mine a couple of years back... They're still there!

Thanks again all of you for your replies. Will be ordering the necessary parts again and will definitely investigate the rear socket wiring. Thanks for that J_D. 👍🏻Will report back with pics when it’s done. Cheers, M.

Thanks for your replies. GG. That’s what I did in the MG. From what I can tell in the FL to get the console off you need to start behind the front seats and work forwards! Getting at the wiring in the MG was easy - I just pulled the cubby and...

Hi All has anyone fitted an aftermarket USB charging socket in their FL1? I fitted one of these : https://www.12voltplanet.co.uk/twin-port-fast-charge-usb-power-socket-with-blue-led-5v-48a.html in my MG TF as I got sick of the USB leads from the...

My old F1 came home for a repair ‘visit’ today. Needed a new rear light lens fitting 🙄

When I retrieved the transmission bits off my K Series parts car, I removed the exhaust. Its no good to me so sat in the garage for years. Eventually had a clear out and listed it on the Kiwi version of eBay. Not the slightest of interest...

I've never changed an exhaust in any Freelander and they were all as old as yours. They must have been well made.

Replaced back box. Picked up last MOT as the outer was rusted and coming away. Not blowing. See the pic of the old one below. Looks suspiciously like a date code, if it is, it’s done very well. My FL is a March 06 registration on 157.5 k miles...
