    The smoke is now black smoke and its leaving black in burnt diesel behind the exhaust

    My Land rover discovery would not start at first so and I thought it was the alternator so I got a jump start and wen it started Theresa's a lot of white smoke and a knocking noise in the engine any one know what is happening
