I used a place called ccc tech (google it and it shoudl come up) the guy is mobile nationwide and very reasonably priced... Used him on my a3 1.8turbo and it was immense... My boss used him to do his v8 tdi range rover too. I paid about £250 maybe a little less it was a couple of years ago.

ok cool, so what is the tyre / wheel size that is the best fit on a Defender 90 then? I see the later td5's have 235/85/16's on?

Ta, would 215's be ok after having 235's? Also should the wheels have 70's or 85's on? or is it just personal preference?

I think the rims are classic - they are a 5 spoke with rounded edges and a scallop in the middle of each spoke?

I've just seen some General AT's that look great but they are 215/70/16... will 215 still fit on a 7jx16x33 AH2 Range rover rim?

Richb77 -Thanks for the info. I know exactly where you are coming from... Like I mentioned in the post this is the 1st thing i've asked... I am sure nearlly all topics relating to the defender have been covered in this forum, so it begs the question (Sean) why do we need to post anymore...

Hi all... This is my first post on the forum. My gf has just bought a defender 90 300tdi (1996) and it has come with a set of range rover wheels on it 7jx16x33ah2 is the coding on the alloys. Currently they have some 235/70/16 Hankook road biased tyres on and i'd like to change them to some...
