Will take a look this weekend. Hopefully straightforward. Will be about the 10th time I've drilled the rivets to get to the gearstick top! (normally for bias plate)

Sorry to pull up an old thread but you sound knowledgeable on this gearbox. I have replaced my gearbox with a refurbished r380, and have issues with reverse light flashing on when changing to 5th. I've packed out the switch with washers but it still flsshed on. It stays on OK in reverse. If I...

Ok thanks for the reply. Good suggestion.
I have some dot4 as recently completed a diy full service and intended to do brakes as part of this but passed on this when weather turned! Will try and do the clutch (and may as well do brakes) this weekend and see how it is following this.

Hi all,
Hoping I can get some advice please.
I have an 04 d2. Currently if I do a motorway run, say 30 miles, the clutch has 2/3rds travel. A lot of excess travel. After a rest and some short runs the clutch is fine. Continual short runs around town etc are fine. Travel is 1/3 and all good...
