Hi all, I still really interested to get out on some lanes nearish Worcester and join a club in the area. Does anyone know of any clubs in the area or fancy a bit of green laneing - nothing very serious, just a bit of fun?

Thanks Pos. I'm not getting any black smoke but I took the boost diaphram out and found it has split. Do you know where I can buy the replacement kit from? I've searched the net but cannot find anything. Thanks.

Hi All, my 90 19J td keeps starving of fuel at about 50mph after 1/2 a mile or so and it tops out at 55mph? I've changed the lift pump and fuel filter and I can't see any leaks but I have no clue what to check next? It starts first time and does not black smoke at all (even under full load)...

Any ideas where the max fuel control screw is on a 2.5td (19J) Cav injector pump? Thanks.

One other point. A lot of people have said their winch electrics cut in and out. I had this problem so gently unscrewed the Solenoid housing and sprayed WD40 in it - seems to have worked a treat!

The wastegate actuator on the turbo will move but there is a fair bit of resitance - is this normal? Also, I still cannot find the fuel control screw on the side of the fuel pump - any suggestions? I could only dream of hitting 70mph! It tops out at 55mph (does have mud tyres but even so!)

I've justed replaced the lift pump and the fuel filter - its not smoking at all, even under heavy load. I thought it should a bit so guess it needs more fuel but I just cannot find the max fuel adjuster! I must be blind but if anyone can explain where it is on the pump that would be great. Thanks.

Thanks for the replies. church streton is fine with me so would be good to come out next time anyone is doing that. Would like to come up to leicestershire but as I've got Insa Turbo's and a 90td (19j) it has a top of about 55mph flat out! Therefore, motorways are hard work!

Sundays are good for me. Is there anyone out there who has experience and near Worcester? Would be good to go out with someone who has good knowledge of green lanes and off road driving. Also, after the few lanes I've done it is difficult to find the lanes we are legally allowed on.

Thanks for your help. It was a poor connection on the cut off wire connecting the to the top of the injection pump.

It's had a new fuel filter in the last year but not sure where the fuel cut off is?
