Its probably best for anybody who may be interested to come and have a peek, ive only had the 90 since sept 07 for use on a few camping trips and couple of green lane runs, majority of the upgrade work was done with the previous owners and any repairs ive had carried out by a landrover...

it doesnt seem to be a problem and my mechanic when I mentioned it didnt seem to show concern because of the snorkel. However one could be fitted i'm sure.

from what I can see, no.

there isn't an air filter due to the previous owners disco conversion and snorkel upgrades, I think under the bonnet is another colour from before the respray.

To get it through the MOT, as far as I know it needs the front part of the exhaust replacing with either a custom bit or a steve parker one for the disco conversion. Apart from that its in good nick.

Unfortunately I have to get rid of my beloved 90 because I simply dont have the money to get her running with other financial commitments aswell as being surplus to requirements with a new job. What I would like to know is how much it is worth in its current condition/spec: C reg, 1986...

I believe the 2.5 N/A engine is specified to do between 18-22 mpg at best from what I read up, so the figures you say roughly work out as that.

I have the 200tdi disco lump sat in my 1986 Defender 90. I noticed that the oil cooler pipes were seeping quite a lot so ordered the replacement parts for the defender 200tdi, but to my dismay I found that one of the pipes (PBP101140) was way too short and was missing a right angle fitting, the...

Thanks for the feedback guys, I think ill hunt down a 200tdi defender gauge and fit that. Don't suppose anybody knows a good place to get one from? apart from Ebay because i don't have the patience for it. Cheers :)
