Hi Austen, Freelander suggested l talk tou l am neww here. Have a Freelander 1 with a knocking noise when cornering, l changed the diff bushes yesterday but still have the knocking noise which seems to come from the rear or/and the middle of the car, its really hard to pinpoint l was wondering...

Jeesh l cant believe the price of the VCU, and it might not be that, one more question and l will leave you be :) can these VCUs come reconditioned or will l need to buy new and do you have any suggestions where l might get it, l'm in London btw. Cheers

Well Ive had the car coming on 3 years and never had an engine problem which l think speaks for itself, l have had a look at the VCU, yes l have noticed the shuddering seems to be coming from under the drivers seat area, are they easy to change?

Hi there yes its petrol, l really like the car but being driven mad by a shuddering sound coming from the rear when cornering, changed the rear diff bushes yesterday and its not cured it, back to the drawing board :)
