Hi that does sound like a possibility. I have had a search and can't find much info on it, it does continue if the ignition is switched on and I would assume it turns off once cabin temp is warm/reached. How do I locate this little bugger to inspect it or lubricate if thats an option? Cheers Mark

Doesn't sound like bearings and if you speed the fan up there is no change of volume as you would expect just the rsh of air then the noise goes. i would assume filters are fitted. I have seen that the fan can be dusty so I will have to figure out where it is and how to get to it and give it clean.
