    New Defender pics?

Discovered this at work today. If all electric cars turn out like this I'm all for it.

Series 3 Brake fluid over rear wheel

Quick check - has the fluid level in the brake fluid reservoir gone down? If it has - probably brake fluid leak. If not.....well you can guess the rest.

    Part number? steering lock

£4.21 - make one yourself then! Us Land Rover types are spoilt, talking today at work about a friend of a colleague who was asked £600 for a Citroen C1 door seal . He sold the car on. I just bought a door seal for my Series III for less than £9 :)

Series 2 Battery question 200tdi conversion please

Best advice I can give is, yes, buy the biggest you can fit in the tray. Also, buy from anywhere with a good turnover of batteries who keeps their stock in a nice cool warehouse. Diesel Ignition Switch Woes

Yes. they do look like self tappers, well, the one I've managed to get out. Tried drilling the other one out this morning but far too hard for hand drill. Try the pedestal drill tomorrow. Diesel Ignition Switch Woes

Bad day yesterday. Aimed to take the Landy (SIII Diesel) out for a drive up some local hills, turned the keyswitch (I don't like calling it an ignition switch on a diesel - it isn't) to pre-heat position. Result - lots of smoke coming out from behind instruments! Plans abandoned so stripped down...

Series 3 Diesel fuel line question

Part number 564905 if you're interested. Bit pricey though...£31.26 at Craddock's

Series 3 1974 2.25 Diesel with air problems (SOLVED)

As I've just suggested on another thread, worth checking condition of the diaphragm in the lift pump.

Series 3 Still not fuelling (diesel)

Possible split diaphragm in lift pump. Worth checking as I believe this can allow diesel into the engine oil and air from the crankcase into the fuel.

Hello everyone, I'm back in a Landy...

Better introduce myself. Thought I'd got rid of the Landy bug but, as you alll know, it's not that easy. Bought this, my second diesel Series 3 SWB a couple of months ago. Apologies to the those of you who like them factory-standard, it's not by a long way but...I'm liking it a lot!! Cheers, Mark.
