For me it pulled too much even when on the bench, i think the motor was just worn out. The gears seemed fine with no snags etc

I can tell you that if the motor is jammed, it certainly pulls too much current but it showed as pot failure on Faultmate.

I don’t think it’s splashing back up, I think it’s getting into the bit behind the dash panel and splashing from there onto the door. If my end panel was on, I think the door would be dry. I’ll need to try it tomorrow -get inside with a camera

That's my thoughts also. I see this on many cars that come in through winter with either water ingress or excess humidity in the cabin 🤔

Where is the little fan setup on the l322, it could be taking too long to monitor the air temp in cabin due to being dusty 🤔

The wiring loom and new speedo cable have been delivered today! So guess what I am going to do the next days! With some luck, I might even get her through TÜV / MOT by months end before our summer vacation! Wish me luck!
