:)auto gear box is very good even on steep hills. Only trouble is it uses more diesel.... I get about 30mpg. The car is bigger than the freelander 1. Especially wider so I find it a bit more difficult to park on town. Otherwise a great car.

thanks for replying. quite a while ago I know. Had to have the bottom pulley replaced as very noisy so the garage did the belts as well. The garage had a hard time getting the bottom pulley off, so its probably a good job I didn't try it. However I now have to consider renewing the power...
