Hi mate, I think I need your assistance. I've tried to connect thr battery in, after 10 seconds the battery started to over heat, steam started to come out the overflow valve on the battery. I was maybe thinking the alternator?

Hi Keith, I am in the final stages now, I just need to connect the fuel lines and the gearbox earth wire. It's been 6 months in the making, just been taking it easy and extremely carefully. Thanks

Hi everyone, Need a bit of assistance. I have had to put a new engine and gearbox into my disco 3. I very stupidly forgot to mark off the connection into the ECU there are 3 connections I am unsure about. I would be grateful for any assistance. Please see attached picture. Thanks

Hi, Crankshaft has broken. The crankshaft pulley is not moving as it should. Connected a 21mm impact socket onto it and you can hear it clunk as it turns. Got a donor vehicle sitting right next it. Going to remove the engine and gearbox and put it into mine.

Hi, yes, the mechanic has just changed to fuel filter. I'll go out and try to find out the make of the filter. May I ask a learner question, what do you check the fuel filters pressure?
