Would the o rings cause a hissing noise from the front on the engine as noticed a sound like air escaping once I’ve turn the key on for about 1.5/2 mins then stops sounds like it’s coming from fuel pump on front of the engine sprayed soapy water around and couldn’t see any visible signs of a leak

Hi no I get no smoke when it fires up went to fire it up this morning and will not fire up at all now flattened battery trying to start it suspected glow plugs failed so new ones on order for Monday as no where local has any in stock

Battery checked all ok starter cranks engine fine for 20 seconds till it fires up
