i would need some guidance on what i can check however @sierrafery said that there is no way i can access motors or the flaps without total dash removal :(
im thinking about adding valves to open / close during summer/winter to avoid having to remove the dashboad. adding valves to the existing factory setup is very hard but i was thinking about using the blanked off hoses originally used for the egr...
Did a little experiment, bypassed the heater matrix and now i have cool air coming from both sides. Still think ita not great but there is definitely a problem under the dash. Question is: is it easy to fix whatever is wrong or is it better to...
i guess it needs to be a U-shaped piece of pipe? since id rather not remove those old hoses, is it very hard to access the flap? do i need to remove the entire dashboard?
thanks for the info. the idea behind blocking the coolant is to proof the theory and so that I can have a/c without too much work for the summer months as the the next available slot is in november
are you aware of where this flap which opens and closes hot air is? i mean if i dont need to take the whole dashboard apart id rather check/replace it than mess with old coolant pipes :D
Thanks for the replies. Went to an aircon specialist. Understandably they are very busy atm but he recycled the gas and checked for vacuum. System had the right amount of gas and the pressure seems good. High and low pressure are hot and cold...
Experimented a bit and there is def a difference even between passenger and driver side. Although neither are very cold passenger feel cool at least while driver side is warm. I think i may have more than one issue, first being ac not cooling...
Ac def kicking in as i can feel the difference in the power lol. If im not crazy i think the rear ac are a little colder than the front ones! Although neither are very cold compared to what it used to be. No ac is not an option for me, its...
hi all, so a bit of an issue with my ac not cooling. things i hecked/replaced:
1. new ac compressor as it was leaking, replaced with genuine. also replaced drier.
2. new condensor
3. uprated spal fan
4. no serious leaks, topped with gas, low...
yes that is correct, these are the steps i tried:
1. Cruise Control Master Switch
Located on the fascia to the right of the steering wheel.
Press it to turn cruise control on—you'll see the amber light on the dash
2. Setting Your Desired Speed...
when i press the cruise control button the little light turns on , i accelerate normally to desired speed and then try to press the buttons but nothing happens. horns work, yes
100% valid point however i also travel to continental europe or africa and there cruise control is very convenient. This a photo from my latest adventure in the sahara :D
Yes, so i turned on the switch which lights up and then i got up to speed and pressed the set + and i let go of the accelerator but nothing happened. Was expecting it to maintain that speed or at least feel some kind of trottle response ?
so i retrofitted the cruise control on my 03 disco. all looked fine and i can see on nanocom that the switch works. however the Set + button doesnt seem to be doing anything? what am i misisng? how can i check if the switch is maybe faulty?
