Thanks for that, it's a 2002 TD5 so the same as yours, I will have the bits tommorrow, is it a lengthy job if just the wormed cable?

Glad I found this thread and glad you have resolved it, my wipers have packed in this afternoon, I can hear the motor moving but wipers do not move, if you grab them and force them they will return but not start again, does this sound like the same symptoms?

Any glazing merchants should be able to make a template of the frame and cut glass to size, then fit in rubber as the alpines, if it were me I would pay a bit more and fit bonded landy glass or Masai windows to the sides as they look so much better

Shouldn't it be the sellers responsibility to reclassify, it is usually with disabled tax
