There is Oil in the number 1 spark plug right bank and it is causing my car to smoke from the right side exhaust. It seams as if the oil is there on the tip of the plug without running down the outside of the threads, it has a compression of 150psi and the one next to it is the same. Has...

cleaned out the oil breather and it is still leaking oil into bank 1 spark plug at the front.blowing smoke from right side, the plug had oil in the next day after we changed it. The compression test showed 150 and the plug next to it was 150 aswell, what else do you think it could be?

Just found out today my gearbox is shagged, does anybody know any good places to get them rebuilt/replaced? Also any ideas on costs?? Its a 2002 4.4 v8 petrol same box as the x5 I think. Distance isn't a problem as we use a courier at work. Thanks in advance for your help! Mac

My 4.4 v8 02 RR has started to make a whine type noise when first started from cold and when the revs increase just before gear change.:( Dealer reckons it may need a new filter and oil in the gearbox, anybody got any ideas or had this problem? It still whines when warm just not as loud, LR...
