mine stopped working and it was a problem with a dodgy contact on the switch

thanks for that I have taken the unit apart and one of the contacts on what i think is some kind of vaiable resistor was not touching. I bent that and now it works. many thanks

Hi this is my first post so I'm probably in the wrong place. Basically I'm struggling wire in up my fuel gauge. I can only get it to say full, even though I know it's only half full. I have pulled the Sender unit out so I can play around with the float but it doesn't seem to make any difference...
