    Yes. I think “checked” meant that he tried really hard to get it to slip and the engine always stalled. It feels ok to me — better than it did before the clutch replacement — so I’m happier with it now than I have been since buying the vehicle...

    I would say it is pretty much impossible to physically check the clutch whilst still in the car, but as you have done a good few miles since then it should be no worries.

    Steam cleaner to clean the tank out. You want nylon air brake pipe for the fuel hoses.

    Iirc the series x member has some holes in the bottom face, this is for a piece of angle iron to attach to to allow the drop plate to fix to the angle iron to save twisting the rear x member.

    Think only the other week someone on here was selling a freshly skimmed 200 flywheel. As it is an arse job to get box out once the car is together I would be inclined to sort it out while it is easy to get at.
