Thank you very much for your advise and offer, sadly each day just seems to get worse!

Sadly no apparent problems hence me purchasing them both but I have a feeling it will be a lengthy and expensive process with them both but am starting with the smaller/cheaper options first and hopefully if I am really lucky the problems will be sorted before my bank account is empty!

Would love more and a huge bank balance so that I can afford the running costs!

Thanks very much for responses, it has done 116,000 miles and has a full service history stamped book but sadly not a comprehensive list of items replaced, I think it will probably be a case of replacing the items one by one and seeing how I get on. Replaced the maf sensor today but no change so...
