I absolutely agree. I have shut off all notifications now. Just leave those who need a new hobby to their own devices.

They stop spit - nothing else. They don't stop anything, but they can cause bacterial lung infections and hypoxia etc if worn for too long. It was all a massive hoax. I could explain it in depth but this is a Land Rover forum. I never complied and never will with the next mRNA ones planned...

No it won't happen. This is all hypothetical 'stuff'. As I said, never had any EGR problems or any others with testing, but thanks for your time.

I took mine off in 2007. Why should I **** anyone off? If I had an issue with them I wouldn't go back. It's that simple.

Masks do nothing, they just show everyone you are compliant. In fact they are dangerous to lungs. But that's another story. I'm OK with it being removed on my 300 tdi too. My point is laws are to be tested.

If we were all scared of governments and complied with all their bs (like masks etc) we would be living in a prison. Mind you we're nearly there now! Tbh they can do what ever they like - I am not complying.

So who's going to prosecute me? No one's even interested. All mechanics are aware that EGRs are fitted to some Defenders and other vehicles. Checking its existence is not a part of the MOT anyway, just an emisions test. If it passes then it is legal. I'm not going to mess up my engine...

Illegal? How's that? Having an EGR is not mandatory. No one in their right mind has one fitted.

They did have EGRs but removing that was the first thing I did. Awful things.
