Yes, it is possible. I had to drop anti roll bar and remove track rod and steering damper. Then if possible remove the rear exhaust hanger, if not just remove the rear exhaust section from the mount, you will just about have enough room now. Best done with 2 people and some gentle persuasion...

Cheers guys, will check rear pads, does sound likely that the pistons are coming out to far, and the transmission brake could do with adjusting anyway so will give that a go aswell.

cheers guys, it was a cheeky little 20amp fuse in sattelite board under steering wheel. No.6 holder marked AUX and trailer lights - as I found out also does clock radio and interior lights!!

i have checked all the fuses under the steering wheel, and they look fine. thats why i was thinking could it be a relay??? i will follow the wiring diagram tomorrow and see if i can figure it out. cheers

Hi, i am not sure what i have done? I was trying to replace the stereo in my disco (n-reg), it had a kenwood in it when i bought it, which never worked. anyway didnt have a clue which wires went where, managed to get the new stereo to power up and the electric ariel was working aswell, but now...

Anyone know if it is possible for oil to be leaking from the brake vaccuum pump situated on the RHS of the block on a 300 tdi engine. It seems to be coming from the casing of the pump not the actual mating surface of the block where the gasket is??? thought oil was leaking from rocker cover but...
