    L322 V8 Surprises

    L322 V8 Surprises

Ah yes, I had this yesterday. Turned the key first thing in the morning and nothing. Several times. Went to get keys for another car, and under threat of being redundant, I tried her once more and held the key in start for 2-3 seconds and baddabing! She started! curious if this is common...

    L322 V8 Surprises

Best Surprise today, when it says 98 miles range on a quarter tank, there are no nasty surprises and it doesn't suddenly drop off. I've been very wary of driving with less than a half a tank just in case the lights stay red too long and I run out of fuel:(

@jimmacD i hear you on the been there before beef! I’ve got the rear wash wipe inside cover unable to attach as every single clip is busted! Might have to epoxy it or something!

    L322 V8 Surprises

My worst surprise (really not that bad) was that brake pipes rotting was the reason for my soft pedal. £120 to fix one side didn’t feel too painful. If they’d failed at a critical moment it could have been sooooo much worse!

    L322 V8 Surprises

o_Oo_Oo_O1) What has been the best surprise of owning your L322 V8? 2) what’s been the worst shock you’ve had owning your L322 V8? I’m hoping that while this may be a bit of fun, it might highlight some new things I’ve not figured out yet, and help with some preventative medicine, too. So to...

    Mile munchers

Oh, didn’t I mention? She is Bi, but as she has a leak in her gasworks, we can only use the one hole to get her juices exploding in V8 symphony It’s like the other pipe work is just tucked out of sight and you carry on like she was a real girl

    Mile munchers

195k on my 4.4 V8 Vogue. She’s done 600 miles this weekend and is every bit the lady when it comes to long comfortable ride. Her air bags are pert and perky. Her hide is supple and benefits from a good dose of balm. Yes, it’s Landy Love

    L322 Range Rover Vogue 2006 4.4 petrol - suspension fault...yes?!...again?!

Just a quick thank you. I found this really helpful. I have the “inactive” warning on mine and now I have a few places to look. And some expectation regarding remedy/costs. Loving it here more and more

    Back once again....

Thank you for the welcome. My local guys have replaced a rusted leaking brake pipe. They will have a look at the inactive suspension too. They know these cars a bit, so I’m comfortable with them and their prices are agreeable. Meanwhile I’ve been enjoying her! Remembering they are more than...

    Back once again....

Few bits wrong with it... Lpg doesn’t work just beeps, and any gas I put in it went south Reservoir pressure sensor fault means air suspension is inactive brake pedal sometimes spongy. otherwise it’s a stonking V8 that is as smooth as you like!

    Back once again....

Been immersed in German flat 6 product for quite some time and now I’m feeding my winter weakness with an L322 4.4 V8 Vogue. It’s not perfect, and at the same time it’s utterly gorgeous!

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Today bought a Propshaft and bolt kit, Gearbox Selector switch, Selector cable and gearbox wiring loom for my Rangey which I bought on Saturday. Can anyone guess what happened on Sunday while driving round to my folks house for lunch?
