Think you may be right hippo on closer inspection it looks like a white line has been spin painted on GKN reads GKN-V 404810 8343 I'm guessing 2010? On a 98

There don't appear to be a date stamp although there are markings that run around the inside rim like this 98-- 99--00--01--02--03--04

Could it have been an aftermarket?
