Air conditioning drains blocked. I rest my case! Now you are faced with two options...stuff newspaper up underneath the carpet to try and absorb the water...it will take a long time.
Or take out the seats and centre console and carpets and do a proper job!! It is easy.
Discool can eat my...

Oh pants! Been waiting for a test SACD disc to arrive. 5.1 works perfectly on the house 5.1 system. But as some of you correctly surmised, I ain't got surround sound in my Disco II. Later model(s) do.
Never mind...still a good sound system :)

Terrible logic. By your 'reasoning' (I use the term loosely) then just because you have never had a puncture, no-one else has.
Go Google it. You will get plenty of hits and explanations.

Unless they are blocked ! In which case they overflow into the passenger compartment and soak the front carpet(s).

Well I've just ordered a test disc and so will let you know ! You could always go and get Dark Side ;-)

Thomas, yes it is.
I now have a horrible feeling that you are going tell me that I am talking tosh! Having said that I stuck the SACD disc in and as far as I can see the sound spatials are as in my 5.1 system indoors. Maybe Becker were trialling an SACD version as the Disco 2 reached end-of-life?

OK..but worth double checking your a/c drains anyway. Regardless, that carpet does need to come out because the sound-absorbant covering sucks up water like there's no tomorrow.

LOL !!
Which head unit? The Becker SatNav?
Not sure....it is whatever was fitted as part of the ES package. I can check if you tell me what to look for.

...I think. Have the top-end ES version on an '04 plate. As I had the seats out to remove the front carpet, thought I'd Google the Harmon Kardon amplifier which led me on to surround sound and 5.1......which got me wondering. So bought the SACD Dark Side of the Moon and put it in the head...

Look at the front of the roof gutter just above the A-pillar. You should see a small rectangular hole. This drains the water from the gutter and out the bottom of the A-pillar. So gently pour a small amount of water just into that hole. Look on the ground. If you see water then your pipe is...

Hi Sierrafery...I'm pretty sure that the black connector under the seat is as reported in the link I found (think our posts might have crossed). The heater connections are all together on the brown plug, I believe.
The centre console connector wires are..one green..one black.
Thx for...

Aha...managed to track down what the black connector is for...
The Black (2-way Econoseal) connector under the driver's seat, is for the seat belt buckle switch, which is not fitted to UK vehicles.
So not losing my marbles yet!

The illumination feed is a good suggestion but the power for that comes through the same connector as the feeds to drive the LEDs on an automatic (which is mine).
Just had another look at the passenger side and the yellow connector is fed with unsleeved orange wires....!!
