If you have enough space you could use a stainless steel exhaust reducer that matches the sizes you want and then use fuel safe pipe for the rest. Could probably get an exhaust bend either made up or off the shelf if needed.
Thanks romanrob. Sadly the grill wasn't off, although it will be next time I need to adjust it. I did get there in the end with a long screwdriver and prodding various catches until it released. Got there in the end. Thanks for the input. 👍
Is the grille still off? If not you need to get that off first and then get a head torch and probe underneath the bonnet catches to trigger the release cables manually...it's a pita
Would a 110 LR fit? Tanks in the same place and neck to tank same size.unsure filler end
(Disco I think are smaller diameter on the filler end & would be longer)
Thanks for that. Funnily enough I have just fitted the part you suggest. I had hoped to be able to warm it with a heat gun to shape it a bit better but its obviously pretty tough stuff and not willing to bend. I have managed to fit it but haven't...
Thanks Beneagles. Unfortunately it has been superceded and when you click on the link its a 404 page but its a start. I'll get in touch with Rimmer Bros. 👍
Afternoon all,
I'm wondering what RRC owners are using for filler neck rubber tubing when your originals perish? My hose is 71mm diameter at the tank end and 42mm diameter at the neck end and approx 250mm long. Its on a 1989 2 door.
I can't seem...

I have been adjusting the bonnet on my 1989 RRC and have given it a half turn too much! The bonnet is now stuck shut and I can't open in the usual way.
Grateful for any advice as to how to rectify the situation.
The grill is of course...
Thanks for that, Someone else indicated the lack of spoilers on the VM's was due to cooling issues. This one now has a 300Tdi so no worries with that issue now. Cheers
Not boring Norseman and as aj1954 said, important info if originality is a concern.
My 1989 2 door is not very original. It was LHD now RHD with a VM replaced by a 300Tdi. TBH I was given the spolier and think the vehicle is missing something...
Thanks Norseman, Discool and Ratae for your input.
You are of course correct, my error calling them fog lights! I have just spent a while understanding that they only come on with the main beam.
Interesting top tip on the rear fogs...
Evening all,
I've got a 1989 RRC which I'm trying to get a few things sorted on. Ive been given a front lower spoiler to house the fog lights but am not sure what size the captive bolts are on the bumper. Does anybody know? My suspicion is they...
