Landcruiser and Hilux here CMR… but we do have a Mk1 Disco for the Rhino Charge. They tend to win it more than anything else, and that is proper 4x4.

It is difficult CMR, your problem is that any car in Kenya is expensive. The new price plus the duty, even on secondhand cars means taking them elsewhere and selling them isn’t economically viable. 12M KES is £69,096 according to xe.com today, which didn’t include the money you spent on...

Ahhhh, understood, my apologies once again. My Mk1 started as a 200TDi but now has an auto 3.9 V8 EFi (with a Mk1 type gearchange), possibly from a Range Rover, so it is a bit of a crossover. I guess that is why the Mk2 wiring diagram seems to work for me.

Apologies, it is on my Mk1, but agreed, it could be on numerous Landies. Plot thickens a little. The black and white pair are closed with key in 1, 2 & 3 but not 0 so that makes sense for key in sensor. Guessing I can just solder those together?
The orange/white and red/white pair are open...

Ah, sorry. I thought you were going to have the lighter on a separate switch (like mine is). Re-read your first post and got it now. perhaps a feed from the ignition (so it is def off with the key out) then going through the high beam switch? Nodge seems to know best?
