Thanks for this they're perfect just the kind of thing I been looking at will order now then can get it done when they arrive ,the compressor never comes on when cars off or parked just now and again for too ups etc when driving but I really hate the noise haha can't put up with it haha thanks...

Hi it does only come on now and again but is really noisy and tends to do it when I'm out just a lot more noise than the original Hitachi one so wanted to silence it down a bit if I can it's not on constant though 🙂

Thanks very much will do , I think them sheets will be perfect too for the outside I should order them they look ideal I'm thinking the inside soundproof foam an inch thick would be ok ? Would that be alright ? Thanks again 👍

Hi ,the old one motors naffed and piston housing cracked it's absolutely corroded tried re doing everything and repairing housing just no life left it's so worn out ,I wouldn't wrap the black motor part as I understand what you mean about heat would wrapping the piston housing in heat resistant...

So bought a new compressor Chinese one works a treat for now as other one off car is completely broken , this new one is noticeably loud is there anything I can do to muffle the sound down ,could I wrap it in heat resistant aluminium coated foam ? Or fire resistant heat resistant fibreglass...
