I'm running BFG 245/75 R16 Mud terrains. They grip great on the rocks of California and as a mud tyre i havn't come accross one better. On road noise is considerably less than that of the GoodYear Wrangler MTR's. The BFG's wear a lot better also. I'm very happy with them.

i have rovertym rock sliders. Check out their website and you can find some pretty informative pictures about the mounting. Ther are big bolts going through the frame as well as some on the bottom going up. http://www.rovertym.com/sliders.htm

i have mine on the spare tyre carrier between the tyre and the door. It's a 6 ft whip. No problems and i think it looks the best.

I'm being told to introduce myself here. I live in Northern California USA and have a 1997 Discovery XD 4.0 V8 Auto. Love the setup of this website.
