i changed my engine from the old 2.5 to a 300 tdi, when changed the temp gauge didnt even move past the white. I was convinced that it was the thermostat cause the heater didnt warm up, it just got slightly warm, changed the thermostat and the temp gauge works so does the heater.

i need the winch hook putting back on my winch nylon rope is there any one in the somerset area (minehead) that i can pay to do it for me?

Maybe a hot pressure washer, chipped paint will come straight up if your trying to do it on the cheep, you'd still have to do lot of sanding there though. But otherwise sand blast the bastard ! =]

Hey ive bought some defender doors and they have no locking mechanisms or handles or door cards. Wondering if anyone can help me out on finding all the bits i need ?

i know you can deff change the rear axel on a defender to a disco one cus ive done it but im not sure bout the front.

Ive just got these brand new td5 defender doors, the new one's with electric windows. They have no... door cards/locking mechanisms/handles/interior grab handles or anything to open/ lock the door. Just window electric motor regulator and the rest... Any help please ??

Get it some newer doors maybe ? they make a massive difference.

To be fair when i got my 90 it looked like that, but they clean up with a lot of TLC i recently had my engine changed to a 300 tdi... DEFIANTLY worth doing whilst the engine and boxes are going cheep.
