I understand that there is a 12v+ source coming out from one side of the fuse socket and then live side going to the TC system. I still don't understand If I put a piggyback fuse there how I am rerouting the live wire back to the TC system if...

Nope, I have No I have not. I just watched a video on how to do it. I am thinking of ordering shims if I have to do this. I am guessing I would need them? Why does this happen? Is it because over time the shims compress and thin out?

Okay so let me give now a real situation that happened yesterday. I was commuting on the my highway (motorway) and like mentioned before 80km/hr, every time, No issues. However, once I got to 85-87 I got a nasty wobble, on this particular part...

Thank you again! All understood and thank you for your patience’s. I am only confused on where to reroute the live wire after the switch if the piggyback fuse is there? If there is only an output wire, how do I reroute it back to the tc...

Thank Thank you very much for this. No relay needed? Which piggyback fuse? Sorry very novice with knowledge for parts on this. I feel I should be using the gold tap, 12v to switch and inline fuse to TC system Sorry very novice with...

Yes, I have abs and tc. Turn off/on TC

Try to rebuild it though, perhaps you can find a rebuild kit. Or possibly send it in for reconditioning, should be cheaper

Syncro Gearboxes or Ashcroft Transmissions should be able to help you

I am looking to install a Traction Control Switch? I have a Nanocom so not worried about clearing the fault when it's turned on. Looking to tap into the ABS+TC Fuse. Can anyone provide a step-by-step safe setup for this and parts I would need?

Good news in my opinion. I find giving two cycles to prime the pump does make a difference

I too have a death wobble but at very strange timing. I got my front tires replaced and balanced due to a snapped tire wire. I kept the tire that had a snapped wire on for about 6 months. Very hard to find defender tires where I am based...

Most likely need to clear the fault. Find a diagnostics tool specific to defenders and clear the code

Very Interesting, I was going to drop it at 200,000km to give it a flush. I will note this and check when I do so. It is a very aggressive overfill, as if the diesel is boiling in the tank. I was thinking maybe a piece of the snapped old...

My fuel pump will overflow even when not fully filled when I fill the truck up, I did the breather hose 3 months ago. I heard of a one way pressure relief valve being in the fuel tank to let the tank breathe. I started it up a third time today...

I read on here many years go that TD5s start on 4 cylinders rather than 5, and then the ECU lets no. 5 injector start releasing fuel. Also, no. 5 cylinder doesn't have a glowplug, which might have something to do with this design feature. So I...

I know there is only 4 glow plugs, but starting on 4! To the op, remove the air filter trunking and have a listen when you start it.

What do you mean by Air Filter "Trunking"? The air filter itself?

Thank you Brown, I appreciate the response. I started her up twice this morning, no noise, as if it was idling at operating temp. Glow plugs, I did do the plugs two months ago, beru. The connecters snapped so I put the pieces together and heat...

Yes, I too played it on my phone speaker sounds normal because how loud the engine is in general With headphones or earbuds you will definitely hear it. At the 12 second the noise will stop

Anyone have a clue what this noise can be? No puff of smoke from the exhaust during start up or on acceleration, all plugs are dry, truck has 175,000km, oil level isn't rising from fuel, coolant reservoir has no oil or vice versa, normal...
