Had it off, it's only moving manually, makes a slight noise when , it's moved with key, but nothing when button pressed!

Yeah that's right mate. Had the door card off, actuator is moving with the door button but nothing else happens, makes a bit of noise but that's it!

Had trouble getting my car to start, cleaned solenoid, worked fine for a while then started acting up again so got a new solenoid, worked great for a while, now it's at it again, took it out again and there was little iron fileings on it. Is there anything I can do to stop this??? I'm getting...

Could anyone identify my problem, the disco sounds fine when accelerating, when you let off the throttle it makes a grindy whining noise, if I knock it in to neutral, it's fine. Cheers
