Went ajd who kindly put it on the diagnostic machine it said variable turbo nozzle as the fault, anyone know what this maybe? He said it maybe something like a fuel filter or hose to the turbo split but without going on the ramp he wasn't sure

Redex not fedex

Read the FedEx thing and tried it. It made it slightly better now what happens is I start the engine and the light is on, I pull away and it goes out then about 5 minutes later it comes back on. It was originally when I hit 2.5k revs but now it's more on time than a certain rev range

Read it maybe injectors and to put in some red ex cleaner as others had tried it and made it better

Now the engine management lights gone out

I guess so it was done by and landrovers been told they know what there doing. Going back today to put it on a diagnostic machine for engine management light

Now today the engine management light came on

Last week I had a new ird and vcu unit fitted. Yesterday driving along it wouldn't accelerate over 50mph. I changed down gear and the revs went up but the sped struggled to increase. Few minutes later it would drive perfect and accelerate normal but then happen again later. Any ideas what it maybe?

I phoned loads either they didn't want to take on the job or wouldn't touch it with 2nd hand parts in case it broke in a few weeks they didn't want to damage there rep.

Got the call today going to basically cost 2k all new items though.

My freelander is in the shop which will proberly have a new ird box fitted this week. Looking at click4warranty they say claims can be put in from day 1. Do you think they would cover these boxes? I've emailed to ask. Thinking an idea would be to take out a cover which is £652 including 4x4...

Why would you do 5 if you travel for a while on the new 4 then the spare tread will be different from the rest so seems pointless replacing all 5

Does it affect the ird and vcu box a lot with different makes or more with different pressures?

Every company I've contacted won't fit 2nd hand or reconed parts other wouldn't do it at all, ended up going with and landrovers of fit a new one. Heard some good reviews about there work
