Oh I take it back, drove it around yesterday for half hour to top up the battery, tried starting it today and nothing! 13v on the battery so that should be more than enough. It's off to the garage at the weekend so I'll report back.

Rather embarrasingly, it just needed a jump start from something with more juice than the battery pack I had..!!

That refreshing didn't work unfourtently!! Any other thoughts guys :):)

It 100% heads toward the bulkhead, I didn't follow it up all the way. Will investergate further when the rain stops

Not sure if it's any help for you, but I found Cuvva to be very reasonable, but you do have to book it in and pay as you go.

Haha so I cut the wrong cable first.. this one.. https://photos.app.goo.gl/MapdhGJKz5Uxv2DYA Cut very easially and appears to be some kind of breather cable, I saw what I now know to be the right one, and thought "that's too thick, can't be that.." For confirmations cake, it's the one coming...

Thanks Tottot, Honestly I think it was on for a good ten seconds, the smoke came not from the battery but underneath and then up into the battery compartment.

Thanks for the reply, makes sense!! Do you think there is a short somewhere, or more that the handbreak cable was acting as that earthing cable, at put too many amps through it, and melty melty
